GoJoe scoops Best Physical Initiative prize at the 2025 Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards

At GoJoe we’re more comfortable in running trainers than dress shoes but it was a successful switch last night after an award-winning evening at the 2025 Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards

The platform collected the Best Physical Wellbeing Initiative Award, which championed the work GoJoe do for, and in partnership with, the NatWest Group.

2024 saw huge success in the partnership, with GoJoe’s annual health and fitness solution rolled out bank-wide as well as the delivery of the mass participation Go!24 campaign on the eve of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The partnership has helped deliver huge impact for the bank, getting over 23,000 employees more active more often over the last 18 months, boosting their physical, mental and social health, as well as helping NatWest reduce absenteeism costs by 10% in the same period.

And the partnership continues to innovate together with the launch of hybrid activity clubs in the autumn of 2024, a successful trial of GoJoe Rewards currently ongoing, and exciting plans to revolutionise health data and impact to help drive bottom line business performance.

Will Turner, GoJoe co-founder and CEO who collected the award on the night: “Award wins like these are a great recognition of the amazing work the whole GoJoe team do to deliver success for our partners and a premium experience for our users. This one is particularly special as it also champions the collaborative efforts of the NatWest Group too and the innovative and impactful wellbeing work they deliver for their staff. And the best bit is there’s plenty more in the pipeline for our partnership!”

The evening itself, hosted at the iconic Ballroom at Grosvenor House in London, brought over 350 leading wellbeing organisations and professionals together to celebrate and honours those who are leading the charge to create healthier, happier, and more supportive work environments.

Alan Mochrie, Benefits and Wellbeing Manager at NatWest Group added: "This award is a testament to the incredible partnership between NatWest Group and GoJoe, and the positive impact it’s had on our colleagues' physical, mental and social wellbeing. The Go!24 Challenge and GoJoe’s innovative app have driven mass engagement, boosted health and fitness, and helped bring our partnership with Team GB to a wide audience. We’re proud of the achievements and look forward to continuing to raise the bar in workplace wellbeing."
